How to add a Bible verse widget to your Home Screen

On iPhone

1. Install Blessen from the App Store and open it once.
2. Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
3. Tap Edit in the top corner, then tap Add Widget.
4. Search for Blessen and pick a size: small, medium or large.
5. Tap Add Widget, place it where you like, then tap Done.

On Android

1. Install Blessen from Google Play and open it once.
2. Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, then tap Widgets.
3. Find Blessen, touch and hold the widget, and drag it to your Home Screen.
4. Touch and hold the widget again to resize it.

Choose what the widget shows

In the widget settings you can pick themes such as peace, hope, healing and strength, choose a background, and decide how often the verse changes: every hour or once a day.
