How to put a Bible verse on your iPhone Lock Screen
The Blessen Lock Screen widget keeps a Bible verse right under the clock, so you see Scripture every time you pick up your phone. It changes every hour or once a day.
On iPhone (iOS 16 or later)
- Install Blessen from the App Store and open it once.
- Touch and hold your Lock Screen, then tap Customize.
- Choose Lock Screen, then tap the widget area under the time.
- Find Blessen and pick the Bible verse widget.
- Tap Done.
To change what the widget shows or how often it changes, tap the widget while you customize your Lock Screen.
What the widget shows
Short Bible verses from the Blessen library, such as “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13). For longer verses, add the Home Screen widget in small, medium or large size.
